The Reindeer Husbandry Experience starts with a 45-minute scenic drive to a local reindeer farm. There, a skilled reindeer herder will greet you and explain interesting details about reindeer and how they are cared for. You are welcome to ask questions about these amazing animals.
In the wilderness, near Olos and Pallas, you’ll see reindeer pastures with hundreds of reindeer and their herders. You will learn about modern reindeer care, feeding, and their yearly cycle. Sitting in a snowmobile-pulled sledge, you'll have the chance to watch a large herd of reindeer in their natural environment, perfect for taking photos.
To end the experience, your guide will arrange a gathering around a campfire, where you can enjoy warm drinks. Afterward, you'll be taken back to your drop off point in Levi.
