General Rental Terms
The minimum driver age is 21 years.
Snowmobiling is a physically demanding activity and may involve uneven or bumpy terrain. For safety reasons, it is not recommended for pregnant persons. For sport snowmobile rentals, the renter is required to have prior experience in operating snowmobiles. Each renter is responsible for assessing their own physical ability to participate.
During the rental period, the renter is responsible for routine checks and normal care of the snowmobile, including monitoring oil levels and standard wear.
Fuel is not included in the rental price. The snowmobile is provided with a full tank and must be refueled. Any missing fuel will be charged according to the current price list.
In the event of damage, an accident, or a technical malfunction, Aavalevi must be contacted immediately at +358 10 200 8150. The snowmobile must not be moved until further instructions have been given.
The snowmobile must be returned to the agreed location, on time, and in the same condition as at the start of the rental. Late returns will be charged €100 per starting hour per snowmobile.
A security deposit of €500 will be pre-authorized on the credit card when rental starts. The payment will be refunded once the vehicle has been inspected.
In case of damage, the renter’s deductible is €2000 and must be paid immediately. Insurance does not cover damages caused by negligence, misuse, or illegal operation.
Snowmobile reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the rental begins. For day rentals, the rental period is from 8:00 to 18:00.
The driver is always responsible for any damages incurred and all related costs. Any disputes will primarily be resolved through mutual discussion. If the matter proceeds to legal action, it will be handled by the district court of the rental company’s registered domicile.
Aavalevi Oy acts as an intermediary in snowmobile rentals. The snowmobiles are owned and rented by [Ruiskarhu Oy 3434877-7]. The rental agreement is concluded between the customer and the owner of the snowmobiles.
