This private fishing tour takes you from Levi to some of the best local fishing areas, including the rivers Ounasjoki, Aakenusjoki and Kapsajoki. Your guide will always choose the most suitable fishing spot according to weather, season and river conditions.
During the day, you can choose between spin fishing or fly fishing. The main target fish on the trip is grayling, one of the most valued fish species in Lapland’s rivers. Whether you are completely new to fishing or already experienced, your guide will tailor the instructions and guidance to suit your skill level.
Fishing in Lapland is about more than the catch itself. Quiet rivers, untouched nature and unhurried moments by the water are all part of the experience.
During the excursion, we stop by the riverbank where your guide prepares coffee and snacks over the campfire — an essential part of a traditional day outdoors in Lapland.
